Question

I am wondering how to change a powerpoint that I imported into Captivate as a new project into a responsive project so I can use the desktop, iPad, iPhone tools for development? Is that possible?

Hello,

New to Captivate 8.  I have many powerpoint presentations that I am now turning into eLearning.  I am hoping someone can tell me how to turn on the "responsive" features in Captivate 8 after starting a new project by importing a Powerpoint presentation?

It appears that starting a new project that is responsive starts as a blank project and I can't figure out how to pull in my powerpoint since the import option on this project is greyed out?

Thank you for your help!

    Hi,

I understand for new users it is difficult to interpret the Grey out features in Responsive projects. The common thumb rule for now is, that any thing that is grey out for Responsive project is cannot be used responsively. So even the Powerpoint presentation falls under the same category.

    Thanks and Regards

Sounds like you may need to rebuild your courses again from scratch in Cp8 if you want to use responsive design features.
