I'm having a problem with SVGs not displaying in Cp 9.
Specs: Windows 7 64-bit machine, using Captivate 9 version 9.0.1.320
Saved an icon (aligned to the pixel grid) from Illustrator CS6 as SVG
Media > SVG > selected item in step #1 to place it on the stage
Resulting screenshot shows that Cp 9 imports it (it's showing in the library with a thumbnail), but is "File Not Found" on the stage. This is the import into a brand new responsive project. To the right (on the stage) is a screenshot of the export settings from IL CS6:
Publishing this using Chrome:
Since my ultimate goal is to replace the PNGs used in a drag-and-drop, this is very problematic! I cannot see any of the images, therefore the interaction cannot be created. The goal is to create a better version of:
Thanks in advance for any assistance. I've tried many of the different export settings in Illustrator CS6 and seem to get the same result no matter what I choose.
Ultimately, another goal is to test using SVG animations in Cp via JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas.

Here is the fix, replace the current CivetWeb.exe in the folder "ws" with another one. Download link:
What happens in my case is, a html5 anmation I have in the project file) is displayed instead of the svg.
Himanshu, your questions, my answers:
Does it happens with a particular svg or multiple ?
None of the attempts was successful
Have you tried to insert in a new project as well?
Yes, the same behaviour as described above
Are you trying to publish or Preview? Please Publish and then check the behavior
In Edge Inspect and publshed file there is no problem, the svgs are displayes accurately. But without seeing them on the captivate stage I cannot work properly.
The svgs are created (as an attempt) either in Illustrator or Photoshop. None of them works properly on CP stage.
In fact, as known from the past (e.g. Firefox issue), suddenly problems disappear after one next CP release. We have to search for a bug in the CP, not in anywhere else (AI or PS).
Same question: how did you create the SVG's? I never had that problem, using specific settings in Illustrator when saving as a SVG. There is a screenshot in: Playing with Captivate 9 - Captivate blog
