HI All - I'm new to captivate and would be grateful for your assistance.

I've published to SCORM and HTML5 and when uploaded it to Workday LMS it will not play. Workday advised it's because of flash. I republished the files and deselected SWF and only published in HTML5. On trying to open it keeps redirecting me to adobe page saying - flash retired?

I figure there must be smething i'm missing - appreciate your help.

Steve

Can you please show us a screenshot of your Publish dialog settings?

If you are publishing ONLY to HTML5, then it should look something like this:

Note that the HTML5 button needs to look 'depressed'.  This is (in my opinion) a really bad piece of UI design because most modern users would see the colour of the HTML5 button here as indicatiing that it is disabled, while the SWF button is enabled.  But in fact these two buttons are supposed to be replicating an old style of 'push button' that dates back to car radios from the 1960's when you had to push a button IN for it to work.
