Hi,

Windows 10

Captivate 9

I cannot publish to !connect from captivate. I receive the below error.

Not Found

The selected resource does not exist.

For further assistance, please check out the Adobe Connect support center or contact Adobe Connect support.

I have tried deleting my temporary files, making a new admin account, updating Java, Flash and Captivate (version 9).

I am not asked to login when I try and publish, the url is correct as it works on my friends Mac with the same details. I have the Adobe Connect publish MetaData enabled as well.

I am able to publish to my computer and then upload the file manually from chrome, edge and IE.

I have tried your phone support (cut off) and web chat (he disconnected).

Please help.

hello i solved this issue inserting the url without any prefix (http or https) but only as: meet23232332.adomeconnect.com

however the content cannot be published because generic error: Failed yo publish your content..

Ok - we had a direct chat with Adobe and also worked with our provider Clarix.

The first work around was a complete clean reinstall of Captivate 2017. We have Captivate 9 but deactivated that.

We could not publish to Connect from creating from a Responsive template so we work now from Create new project and use Fluid Boxes to create and review responsive design.

Under Publish to Connect:

Name - Adobe

URL - our http://..{insert yours}.adobeconnect.com

Check boxes for Publish project files and Publish video files

uncheck Zip Files

Select both SWF and HTML5 boxes (appear grey)

Both boxes checked for Force re-publish on all slides and Scalable HTML content

Publish

When the Connect window opens add your login info and select where you want to publish.

For some reason we still have problems unless we do this but it works so give it a try?

It really helped having live support.

I just tried all recs from this thread and none had any effect. We are using a hosted Adobe Connect account. Maybe it only works for on premises?

Yes we did solve the issue!! but I'm not in my office right now. I'll post the solution later today. We run Sierra and publish to a hosted account on Connect.

Did you ever get this problem solved?  I am having the same exact errors and not able to publish to my Adobe connect server.

Any help is appreciated.

I have that exact same problem right now. When I publish I enter the name of the Adobe Connect url I am normally using, like this: https://meet123456789.adobeconnect.com/. I am on Windows 10 and Captivate 9, too.

No one has offered any support.

I got mine going but it returns occasionally.

Delete you server details from cpativate

Set your server details to google.com

Press publish

Receive 404 error

Delete google.com as the server

Set your server details

Publish

I have to do this routinely and it does not always work.
