Question

I currently use Captivate 8. Does it make sense to take a Captivate 2017 Advanced course? I'm looking to learn more about Captivate but I only have version 8 and my company is not upgrading.

Depends on the content of the class.... You don't have Fluid Boxes, no While loop, no mutlistate objects, etc

What is Advanced in that programme? It looks very outdated as well. Rollovers should be avoided since they are not compatible with HTML5 output and Flash Player is EOL. PPT import you can better forget as well, certainly for HTML5 output. This looks very basic, nothing about reponsive projects, SCORM, learning interactions, variables, advanced actions, shared actions, fluid boxes, breakpoint views, themes. Please don't waste your money on this. This is very basic, and OUTDATED. It could be a programme for basic Captivate in version 4, not in 2017.
