Question

I have a published project, can I convert it to a .cptx for editing?

I created a Captivate 8 project, saved and published it but then something happened and the .cptx can no longer be opened ("Adobe Captivate could not open "XXX". Ensure than...the file is not open already, etc.).  I did NOT have backup enabled.  Is there any way I can use the published version to re-create the .cptx for editing and to create a SCORM file?

I'm so sorry, no that is not possible. Did you try to find the cache folder of that file? If it is not corrupted, zipping that folder and renaming the extension to cptx could provide you with an earlier copy of your cptx.

Thanks - there isn't anything in the cached folder (all files/folders are empty).  I appreciate the help.

What? Nothing? Did you clear the cache perhaps?
