I have Captivate my 9 and my co workers have Captivate 8 can we work on the same file?

I created a file in Captivate 9 I sent it to my co worker to work on the file and she has Captivate 8, but she gets an error when she attempts to open. Can we make this work?

No compatibility between two versions.

Captivate projects can be upgraded to later versions but once that is done they cannot then be opened by earlier versions again.

So the bottom line is that Captivate IS backwards compatible but not FORWARDS compatible, because older versions cannot open and edit newer version projects.  This has always been the case with Captivate.

Unfortunately not

I had a similar situation at work. You can open 8 files in 9, but not backwards.
