I want to use a background behind a software simulation

Hi Guys,

I made a software simulation for my company, but now they presented me with some template backgrounds where the software simulation should be placed in ...

So the software simulation should take roughly 3/4 of the screen and behind is a background where also additional text messages are written on, etc ...

Problem is that it seems impossible to place any image behind the software simulation slide (even the master slide stays on top of the software simulation).

Any ideas?

Many thanks 🙂

You are probably aware of the fact that a software simulation is using the Blank master slide.

In previous versions, the work flow described in this old article was functioning well, but must confess that I didn't test in the latest version of Captivatte.

Create and Use a "Knockout" Master Slide - Captivate blog

The idea is to create the software simulation with the wanted resolution (3/4 of the main file resolution) separately. In that main file you'll need a master slide with a transparent 'hole' fitting for the software simulation.
