I would like to know how to import SCORM outputs to Captivate?

I got an output from a friend in a zip file, he does not know from which tool it was generated but he would like me to redo the output in Captivate so that he can play them in iPad or iPhone.

When I unzip the folder, it has 3 folders and 1 file:

1. content

2. flash

3. scripts

4. index.htm file

I can open the index.htm file in IE and it runs fine and shows me a eLearning output. My question is how do I import all this content to Captivate? Please help.

Captivate has no support for importing this type of content.

You would need to totally rebuild the content in Captivate.

You'll need to get access to the original graphics and audio files.  They can probably be imported into Captivate. But you won't be able to use the Flash assets because they won't be compatible with HTML5 content.

Hi there

I'm not here to refute Rod's answer, but I think I'd begin the process by exploring what is in the Flash and the Content folders. You may find one or more SWF files that could be inserted on slides. And the Content folder may have the exact images you need. But I think I'd use that as a starting point and create output from Captivate to see what you ended up with,

Cheers... Rick
