Question

IE runtime error

How the file is put together:

Three slides, where slide 1 has a Play button, slide 2 has an imported 50mb .avi file, and slide 3 has a Replay button. When exported, the compiled .swf is 9mb.

The issue:

The user launches the .html and hits the play button, which starts the "video". Around the 3:30 mark, IE crashes with a runtime error. This is only happening in IE (6); runs fine in Firefox, but all users must use IE at the office.

The odd thing:

I have done this with 5 other files, but slightly shorter running times (2-3 minutes) and have not seen a runtime error.

My question:

Is there a limit on how long a Captivate file can play by itself without hiccups? (file size or running time)

I am also have the same problem. I'm using Captivate 4 and IE 7.  The video seems to produce the error at the same point in the video.  Is it possible that the file was just not published correctly?  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
