If I use an upgrade license from Captivate 8 to 9, could I move it to another machine or does the upgrade have to go on the same machine as the previous version?

I have Captivate 8 on an old hard drive and I'd like to get an upgrade license to 9 but I was wondering could I install 9 straight to the new harddrive or would I have to install it over the old version first and then move it?

    Hi Valentttine,

Generally with Adobe software, you can have multiple versions on the same machine with no problem - whether to keep the prior release there is your choice.

And if you install an upgrade version on a different machine to the previous release, then you have to enter the old product's serial number when installing the new software, is all.

    Hope that helps!
