Import PPT to Captivate 2017 - Captivate blows up

I am attempting to import a PPT file to Captivate 2017 in Windows.  And, yes - I have saved it as a .ppt file.

 

It goes through what appears to be the beginning process, but then Captivate just dissapears!!

 

I am on MS Office 365... does that make a difference?

CP2017 dates from 2016... pretty old. It could be incompatibility with the more recent Office version you are using.

Do you think 2019 would have a better chance?

Under the common name CP2019 at least three main versions were released. No guarantee that it will work better because PPT import has always been capricious. Personally I never use that feature in Captivate.
