Import Quality

When I import, the first view of the photo (in Loupe mode) is perfect.  The colors are good and the focus is good.  Then, after the "loading" message finishes, every photo comes back with dull colors and just a little softer in focus.  The colors go from vibrant blue of sky and water to a dull aqua color (for example).

I'm not certain, but I think this started when I got my new Canon 5D Mark IV, but not sure.  And, I use two different Macs and the same thing happens on both computers.

What might I try?
