import quiz to presentation

I have created a 10 question (10 slides) questionnaire in Captivate 8

Makes 11 slides including the answers slide that I have chosen to hide

I want to copy and paste the quiz into another project.

I cannot copy and paste the answers slide

When I paste the other slides all of the formatting disappears and I lose all of the changes made to success and failure messages...

This is painful

Do I need to create the 10 questions from scratch - or can a Quiz.cptx file be imported into the main .cptx file?

You will NOT be able to copy the Quiz Results slide, but you SHOULD be able to copy the quiz slides, as long as you are going from and to the same Captivate version.

Just have both Captivate CPTX projects open on separate tabs in Captivate and copy the slides over.

Thanks Rob (btw thought of you when visiting my daughter earlier this year in WA)

I tried this but the slides degraded. Meaning the first 2 slides worked fine but lost some messaging format. The remaining 8 slides all went to plain white empty containers :-(

I tried copying one at a time but it pulls all of the slides when I paste. I am going to try adobe for help if they can look at the slides to see if there is some fail in one or both

When you copy the slides over you will need to relink them to appropriate Master Slides in the new project. They were probably linked to the Blank Master slide by default. That would explain what you saw.
