Question

import swf to captivate, publish one swf

I have performed the following in order to import my own swf created in Flash (abc.swf) ...Open your project in Macromedia Captivate or Adobe Captivate2, Select Insert > Animation, Browse to and select the SWF file, Click Open.

The problem becomes when I export my captivate file, my abc.swf file publishes separately from my captivate swf. I don't want to have 2 swf's. Also, I noticed when I import animations that Captivate provides such as right.swf (spinning arrow), it does not publish it's own swf file separate from the larger captivate file.

How do I use my own swf in a captivate file without publishing 2 different swf's?

Captivate will not "merge" any imported swf's that have been published as flash 8
to have it "merged" into the published captivate file you need to publish your own swf as flash7 or below and then import into captivate.
any flash 8 animations in captivate = two files
any flash 7 and below = one file
