Import video/audio, issue with playback

Question

I run PowerPoint 2016, Presenter 11.0 and Video Express 11.0. I recorded a speaker giving a 110-minute video on a health care issue.  I want to import these videos (cut into clips already) into VE and create a project, but when I import a video, the audio is getting pulled from my internal mic on my laptop, rather than using the embedded audio from the video clip (MP4).  Anyone know how to get around this other than splitting video/audio and having to import 2 files per clip? (audio and video).  thanks

Hello,Just to be sure, are you following the steps outlined in the help document for importing your video: Presenter Video Express Help | Recording videos The audio embedded in the video will not be considered if the "Mute Audio" box is checked.
