Importing a powerpoint to captivate 5 doesn't maintain the powerpoint template?

Hi -

I created an extensive .ppt and have imported it into a new cp5 project.  It didn't maintain any of the template from powerpoint.  Is that normal?  Is there any way around this so I don't have to basically recreate every slide in captivate?

Thank you for contacting Adobe Support.

Can you please let us know the tempelate is not working for every ppt impoted or is it happening for a particular PPT file that you are importing.

Also try to make the .PPTX file instead of .PPT file and then try to import in Adobe Captivate.
