Importing new multi-state buttons Cap. 5

I have been trying to import new buttons that are multi-state. I have removed the canned Captivate buttons from the Gallery folder in Program Files under Adobe/Captivate 5. I placed my new buttons into the same folder. Captivate still thinks the old buttons are in the folder, and will not pick up on my new buttons. What am I missing? Where should I be putting my new multi-state buttons so Captivate sees them? I have done a restart and a shut down and start. I have tried to find additional folders where the buttons may be stored. No luck. Ideas?

Thanks in advanced!

    Hello,

You should be able to browse to those buttons (see screenshot, you will have to choose Image Buttons) and then you'll see them. To have the old buttons removed from the list, the only way to achieve this is to delete the Preferences folder. It depends on your OS where this folder is situated, on Win it is labeled Captivate 5. Here are the paths:

    - on Xp: C:\Documents and Settings\<USER NAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Captivate 5
    - on Vista/Win7:C:\Users\<USER NAME>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Captivate 5
    - on MAC: /Users/<USER NAME>/Library/Preferences/

Be sure to close Captivate before deleting the folder. When you restart CP a fresh folder will be created and all your customisations will be visible, so the old buttons will have disappeared.
