Importing .pptx to Captivate

Since I can't import .pptx (PowerPoint 2007) into Captivate 3.0, I'm forced to save as a .ppt extension (1997-2003 version).

However, this causes the image to become a bit 'fuzzy' for lack of a better term.

Are my only options to update to Captivate 4.0 or am I missing something?  Thanks!

Chuck

Hi Chuck

Even if you were to upgrade to Captivate 4 your import would still likely look fuzzy. This is because you are taking PowerPoint, which is designed to be presented using the full computer screen, and forcing it into a specific dimension.

If you want a crystal clear recording, configure your PowerPoint to play in a window, then record that window using Captivate as it plays.
