Question

In Captivate 7, how do I reset all the buttons on all the slides back to default wording and positioning?

I am just learning Captivate , and I created a quiz.  I did not understand the functioning of the buttons, so I renamed one, and his the next behind the clear - with undesired results.  How do I change all the slides back to default simultaneously?

Which changes did you make exactly? On the master slide or on individual slides?

Dragging the Next button under the Clear button couldn't cause issues, it is one of the tweaking possibilities I mentioned in this very popular post:

    Your post is very helpful.

First I tried to rename the next button to skip, but that didn’t take in my existing slides.  I then moved the next button behind clear. I did this on each slide.  This had the drawback not being able to move forward again if I used the back button.  Also, the only option I had to move forward was submit which locked in my answer.

So, ultimately, what I want to do is:

Move the buttons to their original positions

Change the name of next to Skip

    Use the Submit All button

Is there a way to do this as a update to all my slides, or do I have to fix each slide individually?

You posted all your credentials, please do not do that. Do you allow me to remove them?

You can move the buttons on the master slides and then use the Reset Master slide option for the question slides. But if you did change the labels on the slides manually you'll have to change them back manually.

Submit All is a Quiz Preferences option.
