This is not in the quiz itself. It is in the Player. It is the "Quiz Navigation Warning Message" and "Quiz Navigation Titles." This color is not user adjustable within the PPTX. This message appears when the user tries to navigate past an incomplete quiz using the Player control forward arrow (hitting "submit" while incomplete works fine because that is a modifiable message box within quiz in the PPTX). The Player appears to be reading the background theme color (which is light to contrast against dark text) applying it to its text warning that appears against a light grey pop-up alert box (a box that is not modifieable within the PPTX). My guess is this is something that has to be re-coded in a configuration file.

My suspicion is it has something to do with this in the file "vconfig.xml" -

<uitext name="WARNINGMSG_TITLESTRING" value="Quiz Navigation Warning"/>

 <uitext name="WARNINGMSG_MSGSTRING" value="There are un-attempted questions in this Quiz.

Clicking Yes will take you out of the Quiz. Click No to continue the Quiz."/>

Here is what it looks like - the font is white

Here is what the text is saying (shown highlighted by cursor) -

The dark blue text on the tab and the yes/no buttons seems to be coming from the theme. But how to fix the white text that is unreadable?

Hi Ron,

Please try the theme feature to change the colors of different items like font,background, glow etc..

Go to Adobe Presenter>>Theme and change the font color.

There are some predefined theme that can also be used.

For text formatiing, Like font type,size,bold,italic etc. Go to Adobe Presenter>>quiz>>manage>>Appearance

And modify the text of different quiz items.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Thanks,

Sunil
