Question

Inconsistent Formatting

I am new to Captivate, but have experience with other eLearning tools.  I have created a captivate responsive project using a template.  There are a handful of text boxes that do not display (preview) with the font I have selected.  They look correct when creating the project, but when I preview or publish, the font (in only some of the text boxes) displays much larger.  I have tried resizing the text boxes.  What else might I try?

Terminology is always a problem for me, as a non-native English speaker. Which template are you talking about? If it is a cptl-file, at this moment there are problems with files created from a cptl-file which is a Captivate template.

Which version do you use and which work flow for a responsive project? In Captivate 2017 you can choose between Fluid Boxes and Breakpoint views. As for the font you need to use either one of the websafe fonts (top of the list in former versions of CP) or use a Typekit font (if you are on CP2017). Non-websafe fonts will not display or be replaced by a standard font like Times New Roman.

I am using a captivate template that I found in Assets, with a standard font, only changing the size as needed.

    I am using Captivate 2017.

Please, don not insert personal data, this is a public forum. I took it out.

Sorry, cannot help you with assets from eLearing Brothers. They always give cptx files, which they call templates but are not templates (cptl). Can You try on thier site?
