Inconsistent Mouse Click Sound

Hi,

We are using captivate 6 for developing the demonstration.

We’ve created a demonstration with voiceover and inserted mouse click sound on each slide. When we preview the file, we can hear the mouse click sound. However, after publishing the file, the mouse click sound is not audible on some of the slides. We are publishing the file for swf format (Not for HTML 5).

After publishing we have tested the standalone swf in latest flash player (version 11.7) as well as in IE 8, 9, 10, Firefox, and Google Chrome. But, on some of the slides mouse click sound is not audible.

Please let me know if there is any workaround for this.

Thanks.

This is also happening to me in Captivate 9, publishing the file in HTML5 format. Oddly, it has never happened to me when I publish in SWF.

    Hi there,

Make sure that Captivate 6 complete version should be 6.0.1.240 or 6.1.0.319.

Please try adding the trusted location in flash Global settings where you will publish the project.

Check this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4711262 and add trusted location in Flash global settings and then publish your project (check force publish option) to that location and then check.

    Thanks.

    Hi Varun,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

We are using Captivate 6.0.1.240 and we have already made the flash Global settings as mentioned in the thread. Unfortunately, it is not working.

Is there any other solution or workaround for the mouse click sound?

    Thanks.
