Incorrect SCORM Data- cmi.n.interactions.results

Hi,

I am using partial scoring and the percentages for the total quiz are reporting accurately. The problem is at the interaction level. cmi.n.interactions.results is only reporting correct or incorrect. If a question is partially correct, it is reporting as correct. This creates a problem for data analysis.

According to the SCORM 1.2 standards: cmi.interactions.n.result (“correct”, “incorrect”, “unanticipated”, “neutral”) or a real number with values that is accurate to seven significant decimal figures real. , RW) Judgment of the correctness of the learner response

I need to change it to a decimal to get an accurate judgement. How can I do change the way Captivate reports cmi.n.interactions.results?

Thanks in advance!

Debbie

To my knowledge there is no way to configure Captivate to give the output in the format you describe.

You would probably need to use the services of a capable JavaScript programmer to create a custom solution that hacked into the SCORM code of the published output to deliver the result you want.

Thanks Rod. The problem is that Captivate's data is wrong so it really is a bug. How do you get Adobe to respond to fix a bug?

First you log a bug report using the form page they provide on their website, then you wait patiently...forever.
