Increment error in advanced action

I am trying to set an increment condition in my advanced action, but its showing an error. I have done this earlier and it used to work fine.

Can anybody please help. Also the states of the clickables are not changing even after setting the right condition, the tickmark in the visited state that I set is not working, when I do the preview.

Regards

Praveen

From the screenshots I detect that you are NOT using Captivate 12, but which version are you using? Full version number can be found under Help, About Captivate.

The acton 'Increment' is not finished. Which variable do you want to increment? Are you sure that the variable has a unique name?

Is the multistate object 'Integration' on the slide where you trigger that action or on slide 7? Did you activate 'Retain state on revisiting slide' for that object?

Is Visited a custom state or the InBuilt state Visited? Maybe that question is not relevant if you are on a very old version.

Oops, forgot a question: do you have an ELSE part in your conditional action? I suppose you don't have multiple decisions but would like you to confirm.

    Hi,

The state issue has been resolved, I didn't set 'Retain State on revisiting slide'

This the captivate that I am using, Version - Adobe Captivate Classic 11.8.2.216.

I have set the Variable name as 'Integration', do I need to add a underscore to the variable name to keep it unique. No where in advanced action, I have named the variable as integration.

Integration is the name of the multistate object as I see in the screenshot. You cannot use that name for the variable as well, it needs to be a unique name. I always start each variable name with v_. And you need to indicate that variable in the dropdown list.

You are using a rather buggy version. Try to update to 11.8.3.8 although there are still bugs in that version as well.

What about my other questions? Is Visited a custom state or Inbuilt state? Is there an ELSE part in your conditional action?
