Question

Index file missing

I have 4 modules that were previously working on our LMS.  I updated all the modules and reloaded to the LMS.  Upon publishing, all the modules, except for module 1 have an index file. For Mod 1, I cannot select the main file without the index file, so the LMS is not seeing the start page. Am I missing something in the settings? I have published all modules the same way, and Module 1 is the only one that does not have the index file when I publish.

Thank you,

Carol

    Hi

In Captivate when you publish the course as HTML you get the Index.html file. However when you publish the course as SWF you get the don't have index.html file. The reference file is ProjectTitle.html.

Hence please check if the module you have published has the ProjectTitle.html.

Hi Viku, I do have it set to html, that is what is puzzling me. I don't know where the .swf is coming from. Some of the slides were pulled in from a ppt, I am wondering if that could have anything to do with it? The other modules are the same though, and also set to html and they are publishing correctly.

Restarting Captivate and republishing the course can be tried in such scenarios.
