index.html launch question

I have published a Captivate 9 project as a HTML5 (only) e-learning and posted it on our organization server. The e-learning will not launch when I use the path to the index.html file. However, if I map into the server & click on the index.html file, the e-learning launches.

I have been looking for an alternative to a swf version because some of our organization's newer machines either do not have the Flasher Player installed or there is some issue with the Player.

So, any help to resolve the HTML5 version not loading, would be most appreciated!
