Hello Team,

The index.html file is not working and goes on loading but index_AICC.html is working fine, when I publish a source file as HTML/SWF output.

I have been facing this issue for quite a long time. I was searching for the resolution but didn't find any in the community or the web. I am trying to view the published file locally in my system.

We publish the file with following settings:

When I try to click and open index.html it goes on loading but when i click to open index_AICC.html it works fine. Is this an issue as I am publishing in AICC format and viewing it locally? Can this be resolved if I publish it as SCORM?

Also, I am noticing some of the features like text animation and effects such as glow or zoom in for drag-drop object not working, when I am previewing in HTML5 browser and publishing as HTML5/SWF. But I can view the effects when previewing in browser. The captivate pops up with the below screen when I try to preview the slides with these effects in HTML5 browser:

If I continue with the yes button selected, I am unable to view the effects. What is the reason behind this? Can it be resolved?

Kindly help me resolve the issue or guide me where I am going wrong.

Thanks,

Parichaya

index.html will launch a HTML published course if it is not set up to report to a LMS. You did set up the reporting, that means you have to upload the course to a LMS for testing.

If you are going to publish content to HTML5 then you need to remove any unsupported file types or effects.

Trying to play HTML5 content locally is not usually going to work well.  You need to upload HTML5 output to a webserver or LMS (e.g. SCORM Cloud) and test from there.

Okay will make sure to do that.

Why does the index.html keeps on loading and doesn't show any content but index_AICC.html works fine? Is it because I am publishing in AICC format?
