I have a school project due ASAP and I can't figure out how to make the Adobe Captivate to become a live web site to send to my teacher. Please help

I am a very new beginner on the capabilities of captivate. I purchased it recently. What are the steps to download it from the link that I received? Please be as simple and specific as possible since again I am a very new beginner on captivate and even computer capabilities so what steps you might assume more experienced technology savy individuals understand are not the norm for me.Thanks

Hi All, I've been using Captivate for a while but doing basic features.  I find myself now in need of more advanced options which is why I turn to you, the experts, for support.  Hope you can help me with this one.  In one of my projects, I have a picture that users need to find special wording before they can answer the question.  The picture is small and of course users will need to be able to zoom to find those special words.  I tried using the zoom/highlight box but Captivate is not letting me add it to a quiz slide.  What am I doing wrong and how can I easily fix this problem?  Please help...

We have an issue where audio sometimes cuts off at the end of each slide.After some investigation, we have found that the amount of audio that cuts off varies, and sometimes it's none at all - especially when the files have been cached.I believe what's happening is that slide starts playing whilst the MP3 is still buffering, so the longer the lag, the more audio is cut off at the end, as the slide timing and audio are out of sync.Has anyone else experienced this issue, and is there a workaround?

I am using Captivate 9, and publishing to Cornerstone LMS.I have created a course with a quiz that allows multiple attempts. Publishing using SCORM 2004 to adhere to Cornerstone requirements.During testing, I had one user fail the quiz, and then retake it and pass. However, the LMS only recorded a single attempt -- the second one.I am wondering if this might be due to a Captivate setting -- I do not have it sending data after every slide. Does anyone know if that would make the difference?Thank you

I couldn't open my source file. When I try to open this is the message i'm getting.All other captivate files are opening expect the one. Kindly suggest me to recover the file.

Every so often, the Effects drop-down, in the Properties window disappears. Only once I restart Captivate does it reappear. Anyone else experience this? Any idea on how to resolve it?  

I have a project with an event video.  When its been published in HTML5 and played the skin I chose with a video playbar doesn't show.  There is a play button in the middle of the screen but when it is clicked it falls through to the next slide without playing the video.  Or it will auto play even though I have that checkbox deselected.What I want it to do is have the video wait until some narration is said then the student clicks the video playbar to start the video.I tried to add the video as slide video but it never finished loading and don't know that would have helped.Any and all help appreciated.  Also this is not a resposive project.Susan

I am trying to build the custom table of content.  In the table of the content slide, I have seven buttons, by clicking each of them it jumps to the first slide of its chapter.  which means seven buttons for seven different chapters and each chapter has several slides.  Screenshot here:  I have a variable var_lastSlide to track the slide. e.g after entering the second chapter, I have assigned value 1_2 to the var_lastSlide variable. Here is the screenshot:   Each slide has a button for jumping to the table of content slide. Here also, I have assigned an advance action GoToMenuSlide. In this action, I store the value of cpInfoCurrentFrame in var_startFrame variable.Here is the screenshot of the advance action:  Each button in the table of content has assigned advance action for e.g for the second chapter button, it would be jump_to_1_2.  Here what I have checked is if the lastSlide has the value of 1_2,&nbsp

Hi I am using Adobe captivate 2019 for a responsive project. I am using system variable cpcmndtocvisible to show and hide with advance action on a custom button.It didn't worked on phone (I tried iPhone 6, iPhone 11 and Samsung 8.When I preview the project I noticed that toc is shown if width is 481px or wide. it didn't show if width is less than 480px or less. Any idea how to solve it.

I have a presentation I created with Adobe Presenter that includes a quiz. After the user completes the quiz, the score is displayed along with the appropriate results message (passed or failed). The presentation is scoring correctly and displaying the correct message, however the text is so small it's pretty much illegible. I checked my PPT slide, and the score text on the slide is the same font and size as the label text (i.e. "Your Score). I can't figure out why it's displaying like this. Can anyone advise? 

I have seen some similar questions answered about having a timer inserted into an Adobe Captivate quiz which allows the user to have a limited time to perform the quiz, and when time runs out it forces them to the quiz results screen. The issue I am having is the combination of this timer and the 'Submit All' function which is a requirement for my quizzes, which does not allow the user to continue to the quiz results screen without having all questions answered (unless I am missing something), and therefore still allows the users to go back to unanswered questions and complete the quiz after the timer has run out. I want to be able to have the time limit run out, and force the end of the quiz, grading only the questions that were answered and getting zero points for unanswered questions while still using the 'Submit All' function so that users can go back and change answers if they still have time. It seems to be a limitation of Captivate, as I am unable to see a way around this u

Hi, I have created a learning module and inserted a recorded video demo into one of the slides.  I have added a start video button in case learners want to re-start the video.  However, any way I can add another button that pauses it?  Keeping my fingers crossed...

I have a smartshape button that I am using to toggle Closed Captioning on/off - which I have working.  However, I need "CC On" when it is on - and "CC Off" when it is off.  Is this possible? I tried using two images and hiding one vs the other - but then the Keyboard focus gets all messed up. Or even better - is there a way to customize the standard playbar text - like Audio has AudioOn/AudioOff?  ThanksRachel

Have been working in Captivate 2017 for a while with no issues. On opening a project recently, some text captions disappeared on all the slides. Clicking where they should have been displays them again.However, after editing the project, saving, closing and then opening it made the text caption disappear again.One thing to note is that I had Captivate 2019 installed on my laptop a while back but cannot use it for projects yet. All my projects are Captivate 2017 only, never opened or touched by Captivate 2019.What did seem to fix the issue was creating a new project from our regular template, pasting all slides from the text disappearing project and saving. This project when opened again was okay. However, this counter measure stopped working after 2 days.Web Safe Fonts Arial is being used in the Projects. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

When I input question slides or knowledge checks that have a solid white background.  Is there a way to force them to match the theme of the Power Point that I imported to create the project so that all the slides look the same?

Greetings I’m fairly new with Captivate,  I just got the software 2 weeks ago, the issue is that sometimes the HTML preview  works and sometimes it won’t (neither other option for preview), I have tried restarting the PC, running windows diagnostics and so on, but I haven’t been able to find the issue. Hello,I have a number of click boxes that trigger advanced actions on a slide.  They work fine, but if I click them after the playhead reaches the end of the project, the slide advances even though I have on the master slide a smartshape that pauses the playhead at the end of the timeline.  I also have a hyperlink to a website, that, when clicked, does not advance the slide when the playhead reaches the end of the timeline, so that works fine.  The previous slide has a number of click boxes to show/hide different textboxes, and is set up the same way, and works fine.  It seems that the playhead is being released when the click box is clicked at the end of the timeline, even though I think this should not be the case.  Even if I set them to simply 'Show' or 'Hide', without using an advanced action, the slide advances.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

Hello,I am having trouble viewing my learning interactions (buttons/accordions/tabs etc) when I am viewing my slide on preview mode.I understand similar issues have been published on this forum regarding this problem, however, those are specific to publishing errors. I am not planning on publishing my project anytime soon so this issue is strictly in regards to the preview mode, please refrain from giving advice on publishing. Thanks in Advanced

Hat jemand Erfahrung und kann mir sagen ob es bei der Testversion von Adobe Captivate eine Beschränkung bei der Anzahl der Veröffentlichungen gibt?Ich habe nämlich mehrere Präsentation/Videos veröffentlicht aber ab einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt/Anzahl wird die veröffentlichte Datei MP4 Datei als korrupt gemeldet und kann nicht von Media Playern abgespielt werden. Dies war bei den ersten Veröffentlichungen nicht der Fall. 

When i am using the knowledge check slide available from the asset library i have managed to edit the slide and allow user response, however when the slide is published the answer is submitted by the learner and a new slide appears stating correct or not quite. This then allows the user to try again or move on.I cannot find where to edit these slides and provide any feedback.I expected a quiz option below the properties option in the top right, however this is a drag and drop option. Not matching the activity chosen and also not providing any options for editing anyway.Hope you can help!

Is there a possibility to create a relationship between pool questions and slides in Captivate? I have a big Captivate project, and for different presentations, I´d like to publish a certain selction of slides from that projekt. Is it possible to only publish also the related pool quiz questions with the selected slides?

Hi, we are developing courses for our reputed clients using Adobe Captivate 2019.Is there any online platform from Adobe where we can  publish our courses and share the link with client (outside the organisation). So that client will review courses online and share their feedback online as well?

I have created a clickable in a particular slide and linked other slides to the clickable. But, even before the clickable is clicked audio of the corresponding clickable linked slides automatically starts playing without stoping till all the slide audios are done. Can anybody please help to fix this issue.
