Infinite Attempts on a slide

I developed an interactive activity with the assumption of Infinite Attempts (like you can set on a button). The activity has the user select 6 questions from the available 8. My plan was to “count” the number times the slide was “attempted” and when they accessed the slide a 7th time, an Execute Advance Action would “jump” to the end of the activity. Is there a way I can create this in Captivate?

You definitely have to provide more details. What do you mean by 'interactive activity'?  How did you create it?  When you talk about 'number of times the slide was attempted', does that mean re-entering the slide or not? Which version do you use?  Such a vague question will not quickly get an answer. Advanced actions have to be triggered by events. 'Jump to end of activity' is another confusing thing: what does that mean?

I created the interactive activity by using buttons and Execute Advanced Actions in Captivate 8. What I mean is the number of times the user re-enters the same slide. What I'd like to do - is have Captivate "count" the number of times the same slide is re-entered. When it counts the 7th time the slide is re-entered, they are directed to the end of the activity.

Create a user variable that acts as a counter. Create a conditional advanced or shared action, to be triggered On Enter for the slide. That action will have to increment first the counter, then check its value and if it is reaching the required value, navigate them to ... 'end of activity', whatever you mean by that. Sorry, but it is still very, very vague, hence my very short answer.
