Hi,

using CP7,i do not use the captivate play bar but  i inserted custom buttons in the master page of my project.

I want to insert a "Close" button. When pressed, a warning message should appear where u can a) close the project or b) abort closing and go on in the project.

I tried with a hidden group of objects in the master page that are made visible when pressing the "Close" button. Unfortunately, then the "click fail" boxes of the software simulation part of the project dont appear anymore.

Any other ideas how to realize this "closing warning" functionality?

Regards

Julian

I have a question: how can you make a group of objects on the master slide visible, since they don't have an ID? That this should prevent the failure caption (I think you mean that) to appear for click boxes on other slides seems also very strange. Maybe I don't understand your question at all. Shape buttons on master slides can have a pause, but it will the always be at the end of each slide, notwithstanding the slide duration. An advanced or shared action can be triggered by a shape button on a master slide, but the objects that have to be shown or hidden have to be on slides, because you need an ID. Those objects can be timed for the rest of the project if you need them on each slide.

Could you please describe your present work flow more in detail to solve my confusion.
