Can anyone help me with inserting a swf file into PowerPoint? I've been trying and have had no luck.

Thanks!

What version of PowerPoint do you have?

I have version 2010. For me, it's as easy as clicking the Insert tab, then the Object button and scrolling to find the Flash Document item.

Thanks, Rick. I have PowerPoint 2013. There is no Object button anymore. There is a Media button with a drop down menu to select either Video online or Video on my PC. Neither works. When I try to insert from my PC, I get an error message that reads, "Your current security settings do no allow this action." I've tried the work arounds through the Developer button where you add the Shockwave Flash Object, but it didn't work either. I oon't have an embed code to embed the swf file into PowerPoint, in fact I'm looking for a way to do this.

    I would appreciate any advise!

    Thanks!

    Hmmm, well, crud!

I really do wish I had PPT 2013 for other reasons. But I'm sort of stuck with 2010 for the moment.

I did perform a quick Google and found the article linked below. Maybe it will help?
