Inserted Captivate SWF w/ Button- Jump to Next Slide in Main Captivate Project

I have inserted a Captivate SWF on a slide, and I want a button in that inserted SWF to jump to the next slide in the main Captavate project.

I was wondering if I should use advanced actions on that inserted Captivate SWF or javascript on that button to advance the main Captivate project to the next slide?

I'm with Lilybiri on this one.  Having all of the slides in the same project is the better way to go.

When you initiate a new training course project, the height and width of the project file stage is one of the main decisions you need to get right.  Then when you capture any simulation content you should make sure to match the screen size exactly so that adding capture slides is just a copy/paste exercise.

Nesting Captivate SWFs inside other Captivate SWFs is a very dodgy practice that Captivate was never designed to support.  It CAN work sometimes, but it can also cause all kinds of issues as well.

It is not a good idea to insert a CP-created SWF into a CP-project. Why do you not insert the original slides of the CP-SWF into the project? Just want to avoid you having issues,

Thanks Lilybiri, the inserted SWF is a try me simulation. I can transfer the content slide by slide into the main Captivate project, but I'm looking for a more efficient approach at this time.

The inserted Captivate SWF has a smaller dimension size than the main Captivate project also.
