Inserted Video generated connection error when published

I have inserted some video into a captivate project, and when I play the project within captivate it plays fine.  But when I publish it to a swf file, the video generates a connection error.

The flv files are in the same published directory.

Any ideas?

Test it on a web server or SCORM cloud.

That really is not a solution.  Before i can upload it to a server I have to make sure it works.  Why am I getting the error.  When I view from within captivate in a browser it is fine.  Why is it not working when I publish it and view it ?

Testing on a web server (I use XAMPP) or SCORM Cloud is indeed the best way to make sure that everything is fine before you upload it to a production server or an LMS.

As for why it is not working in your local system, I guess Rod will be the better person to answer this.
