Inserted video slide (.cpvc) in a project does not play when published

Hi.

I'm working with a project in Captivate 8.01. I have recorded a video demo and saved it as CPVC. In my project

I added this video using Insert/CPVC slide.... When publishing the project, the video don't play (on any computer). Everything else works ok.

The video plays when using Preview .

Same happens if I insert a FLV file on a slide. It plays in Preview and Flash player but not when I publish.

I have tested to have all the files locally on my computer but same results.

Any idea why it doesn't work?

    I just had the same issue... I was saving my project to a shared drive at work. As soon as I published to my desktop the CPTX file with the CPVC file played without any issues.

    Are you publishing to SWF or to HTML? If it is to SWF, is the publish folder indicated as Flash trusted location?

    Did you try to upload to a webserver?
