Question

inserting a hyperlink into an existing shoq

A Captivate show is already done, and now we decide that we need a hyperlink on one slide. Is our only option MenuBuilder? Is there a way to convert a regular Captivate show into MenuBuilder, or maybe cut and paste slides somehow?

And on the MenuBuilder subject, is there a demo or (free) tutorial out there somewhere? I'd like to get an overview.

Thanks!

    firefly66,

It sounds like you might have need of "what will it do" training for both Menu Builder (MB) and Captivate. They have little in common in terms of purpose or design. Captivate creates Flash movies for training and other purposes. Menu Builder creates a hyper-link menu system to display those movies, generally as a HTML document using a Power Point graphic as the background. What Menu Builder does can generally be duplicated by any HTML editor.

They share the ability to create hyper-links, but Captivate creates internal links to specific slides, while Menu Builder cannot. For those reasons, no, you cannot " convert a regular Captivate show into Menu Builder" ... nor can you convert a Volvo automobile into a tap-water purifier. They share nothing to be converted.
