Inserting a simulation file into a larger-sized file?

Is there a best practice for inserting a simulation at a smaller size to a file of a larger dimension? I have sims at 840x600 that I need to leave at that size but I want to insert them into a file that is 900x600 -- without distortion. I can copy/paste the background of each sim slide, then copy/paste the captions and buttons, but the mouse will not copy over.

Thanks!

I don't know which version you are using, maybe you can try the approach explained in this old article? Beware: I didn't check with latest version.

Thank you Ms Lieve. This answer is complete and easy to follow. I'm using Cap 9, BTW...
