Question

Inserting Slides to Captivate as Images

Hi,

I need to use some symbols in my presentation and Captivate misplaces them when it imports them in. Is there a way I can insert the slides images so that Captivate keeps everything as it is when it imports it?

    Hi,

As far as I know there isn't a way I can convert them to SVG in PowerPoint itself. I need to get the symbols for each slide, get them over to a SVG making software and them save them there as SVG files. This isn't possible for me unfortunately as it would take too long.

I only suggested SVG because it's a new feature of Captivate 9 and as a vector image it would have allowed the symbols to scale without loss of clarity.

You can save objects in PPT as images.  E.g. PNG, GIF, or JPG.

You may need to convert these symbols to images and insert them that way.  Captivate 9 allows you to insert SVG images now.
