Inserting Video Into My Training

I have some video that was captured as an AVI file and they also put it into MPg4 format.
Do I need to convert this into a SWF flash file before I can insert it into my training program? Do I need outside software to make this conversion or will "Presenter" do this for me? Is there somewhere that explains the process for doing this other than the Adobe Guide for "Presenter". I have not found this very clear.

Presenter has the ability to take, ASF, WMV, MPG, MP4, DV, DVI, MOV, or 3G videos to FLV.

Use the Insert Video tool in Presenter and see if the MPg4 video will work, or if the team that created the AVI has the ability to turn it into an FLV, that my be the best option as FLVs work naively in Presenter.
