Interaction Buttons not working

I have created a button and want to make it an image button so I select it from the drop down list, I then chose the next_blue(90*27) button (which previously has worked) but nothing has happened, no change to the button and no error message it is allowing me to click others but next and also the submit image buttons are not working.

Why?

Here's another article about customizing image buttons:

Can  you give some more details? Did you create 3 images with same name followed respectively by _up, _over and _down? Did you ever look at filling shape buttons with an image instead of using the old image buttons?

Turn an Image into a Button - Captivate blog

You talk about the Submit button, is this on question slides? Did you change the button style in the Object Style Manager, on the Quiz master slides or on individual slides?

Which version do you use? Which type of project: normal or responsive? For which output?

I am using Adobe Captivate 8.1, I have selected the Interactions button along the top of the screen, In the properties I then selected Style and then from the drop down list Image Button, this then gives you options of buttons that have already been created and I have been previously and now want to use the next_blue(90*27) and submit_blue(90*27) Buttons that are already on there. When I select either of them they do not change the default button but yet it allows me to select any of the other pre-made buttons from the list.

It is also a Responsive project, I don't want to do anything else just use these 2 buttons as they are in all of my previous projects.
