Interactive Job Aids

Need to create a few interactive job aids. Any suggestions on how to approach? Maybe rollover documents? Maybe Captivate is not best solution? I'm open and curious. Thanks!

    A lot is possible with Captivate (I have consulted for all types of courses) but what you added is still not clarifying. It can be due to terminology, I'm not a native English speaker.

    You can perfectly create hotspots and use them to pop up more explanations (including text, images, shapes, animations) but I don't see why that should be called 'interactive'.

    Maybe have a look at some short examples on my blog, where I used lightboxes and/or hotspots:

    Perhaps those are totally off topic? My apologies in that case, maybe someone else understands your question better?

    That is a very short question, could you please explain better what you mean by 'interactive jobs aid'? A document that opens on rollover doesn't look very interactive to me, but maybe I misunderstand your question.

    My apologies for my brief question. I am currently in a world of templates/dashboards/forms that are being refined pretty regularly. There are opportunities to create coursework around the process in which these templates are leveraged, but wondered if it would be worth making a "hotspot" type document out of these multiple templates for new users to understand components included in templates (some are pretty detailed). Any suggestions?
