I know this is an old thread, but I was having the same issues. After much troubleshooting, I came up with a solution that works consistently. Make sure that the slide duration for any of your Knowledge Check slides or other slides that you are using as an overlay is set to at least 5 seconds in duration.  Also, hover over the Active Pause state indicator then click and drag it towards the end of the slide duration in the timeline.  This will allow for any issues with frames per second playback, buffering, etc. and allow for enough time for the overlay to be triggered.

The default duration for knowledge check slides is 3 seconds and the active pause state is 1.5 seconds, which is apparently not enough time in some cases to trigger the overlay.

Not sure what the problem is. One possibility is that your overlays are not set to pause. Overlay slides will play at the point you mark on the timeline. If there is an interactive object (such as a button) on your overlay slide it will pause and wait for the learner to interact with these items. If you don't have objects that will pause your overlay slide they will just play for the duration of the overlay slide (the default is 3 seconds) and then continue playing your video. As Lieve has said we would need more information to help further. In the meantime you can take a look at the following video tutorial to see the types of things I do to make interactive video.

Hello Paul thanks for your atention.
All the overlay slides have a stop button, this slides appear perfectly in some times when preview video, but i can't play all the video and its overlays slides completly.

There is still too little information to offer more help. I would need to know more about the overlay slides, the video bandwidth settings and other details about how your overlay slides function. There is not enough information here. Best of luck.

Too little information to give any answer, may be the reason why no one tried.

What do you mean by 'reproduce'?  Are you talking about publishing the video or about Previewing it?

If it is about a published output, you need to upload the output to a webserver for testing.

If it is about Preview, you need to use exclusively the Preview HTML in Browser (F11).

You are the first to mention such a problem on this forum. You tagged 'Advanced actions'? Did you use advanced actions on the Overlay content or Knowledge Check slides? If yes, please give more details.

Hello Lilybiri thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help.

When I go to preview or  publishing my interactive in html5, this video plays correctly until some overlay slides jump. This jumps are random, every new visualization can change the slide it jumps.

Mi videos format is MP4, it's 11minutes.
Mi project have a 41 slides including seven overlay slides.

I created a new project for testing whith only this video and it's overlay slides can reproduce correctly if i put the overlay slides in the first seconds of the video, but when put in the correct place along the video, the video jump some slides randomly.

I'dont know what can i do.

I didn't use advanced actions it was a mistake

Not sure what is going awry. I have some interactive videos on my blog. Here is a link to one of them, which is about the same duration:

Custom Play/Pause button

It has both content and Knowledge Overlay slides. Can you try it out?My tips about this video were in:

Which browser did you use? For the published video it is important to upload it to a webserver (that is the case for the fist link I posted), did you do that or just watched it locally?

Is the video embedded or did you use a YouTube video?
