Introducing Myself and a question re: Captivate 2017 vs. Captivate 9

Hi everyone,

I just started a job where I will be using Captivate 9. I'm new to elearning tools, but not to Adobe products (PS, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, Dreamweaver). 

 

I haven't been able to find much in the way of instructional guides or tutorials for version 9, so I wonder how much difference is there between the two? If I use the 2017 tutorials will they be easily applicable to version 9?

 ETA:  Also, how do I change my user name?

    If you have access to Lynda.com, I highly recommend the tutorials there on Captivate 9. Also, if you look through some older posts in the community on tutorials and help, some community members have blogs or other resources linked in conversations that may be useful.
