I published my Captivate 5 course as SCORM 1.2.

When I try to upload and extract it on the LMS I get the following error mesasge:

The IMS Manifest file failed to validate against the schema. Since the file is not valid XML, the manifest cannot be processed.

Anyone have a solution?

Thanks, I tried your suggestion and this is what I'm getting:

    3. cvc-datatype-valid.1.2.1: 'Tempo How to Be a Project Resource_ORG' is not a valid value for 'NCName'.
    4. cvc-attribute.3: The value 'Tempo How to Be a Project Resource_ORG' of attribute 'default' on element 'organizations' is not valid with respect to its type, 'IDREF'.

You should not have spaces in an ID field name.  So make sure the name entered in your Course Identifier field and SCO Identifier fields has no spaces or uses underscore characters between words.  Also, make sure you don't use exactly the same ID for the course and the SCO.

How did you zip your SCORM package?  Via the Zip option in the publish settings or did you zip the entire published folder afterwards?

    I zipped via Captivate's settings.

Please show us screenshots of your SCORM Manifest dialog settings.

Do they look more or less like this one?
