Invoking numeric keyboard in a captivate quiz

I would like the numeric keyboard to come up in IOS devices when using a Captivate multiple choice questions quiz.  Is there a simple way to force this instead of the user having to press the 123 key to get to the numeric keyboard?

Would be a life saver if it could be achieved by a technologically challenged person like me.  Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide.
