Is a custom text caption fill possible

I need a caption box that is filled with a brand color, and none of the standard fills come anywhere close to the fill I need. Is there a way to create a custom text caption with a brand color?

Set up a custom Object Style for Smart Shapes with the fill colour you need.  Give that style a custom name.and set it to be the default Smart Shape Style.

In Global Preferences > Recording Modes, leave the option selected for Add Text Captions and then select the option below it  for Use Smart Shapes instead of Captions.  Then after capturing your simulation you should see the Smart Shapes added will have your custom style.

I assume you mean a text caption when you use the phrase caption box. I would substitute a Shape with the text caption. A shape can be completely customized with a fill color of your choosing. If you have to use a text caption for some reason you can create your own custom text caption background by creating your own bitmap file to be located in the following location.

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 2017 x64\Gallery\Captions

(sorry I don't know where these would be located on a Mac)

Use one of the other samples and edit a copy using image editing software of choice to make it truly your own.

To create a custom captuon you meed a praphics app. A shape can be styled

totally in Captivate, can replace a text caption and a caption. I would

recommend to change the theme colors palette to imclude the brand colr(s).
