Is Adobe Captivate 7 compatible with Mac OS X El Capitan?

Hi

I've seen discussions on Captivate 8 and El Captian and Captivate 7 and Yosemite - but not the crucial Captivate 7 and El Capitan combination.

I have a client who needs me to stay on Captivate 7 - and I am not sure that I am still able to update to Yosemite (El Capitan seems all that's available now).

Anybody out there with experience?

I seriously doubt about the compatibility of an even older version (7) with El Capitan.

Thanks for your response.

I was hopeful because CP8 was reported as running fine on El Capitan, after a downgrade to Java SE 6

and I thought that CP7 was said to work with a fix on Yosemite.

Debating whether to back everything up, jump in over the Christmas break and see what happens.

All rather frustrating.
