Is Audition the way to go?

Recently I narrated my lesson in Captivate 9 and needed to level / normalize the lesson. I had 30-some individual mp3 files and wanted them identical as far as volume and etc..

The audio editing aplet in C9 is old. I think I found a post that said it dates back to RoboDemo.

Captivate prompted an export to Audition and I wonder if how well integrated it is with Captivate. I have been using Audacity, which has been very good, but it is entirely stand alone.

If there is anyone out there who has used Captivate and Audition I'd like to get your opinion of these two applications as far as export/import and the ease of use with Audition.

I mostly use Audition in combination with Captivate. Integration is fine, if you have the correct versions. Latest version of Audition CC 2015 has nice roundtripping with Captivate 9, not sure about CP8.

You can edit right from within Captivate (roundtripping).
