Question

Is Captivate 8 not compatible with Mozilla Firefox? Some of the features don't work in Mozilla that work in Explorer and Chrome.

The dropdown answers don't show up on a matching questions.  Some of the words are cut off in the published program when opened in Mozilla, but nothing is cut off when the program is opened in Explorer and Chrome.  Is there anything that can be done?

The main thing not supported is the .mp4 as FF due to licensing. FF requires .ogg files for HTML5. If you're not concerned about that, you can disable the warning message presented to users browsing in FF. Great article on  this subject here.http://www.rcfouchaux.ca/blog/2013/05/28/captivate-html5-in-firefox/.

Unfortunately not, and if you do a search on this forum you'll find a couple of other things which don't work. Unfortunately there does not seem to be anything we can do if we want to allow the 25-30% of people using Firefox access our courses than just avoid the things which don't work!

In practice most things do work fine so its not an insummountable problem.
