Question

Is Captivate supported for IE11 or run in compatibility mode for IE11?

Does anyone have any knowledge about the above.

We are currently running:

  • Captivate 6 (32 bit) but could possibly upgraded to version 8;
  • Window 2010; and
  • Adobe Acrobat 9.

There is a strong likelihood that we will be upgrading our IE browser to IE11 and am keen to know if Captivate will be supported for that.

Welcome any feedback.

We are having issues with IE11 and CP8.  I've written the forum but haven't received any feedback.

Or issues are -

-the presentation won't re-size to match the IE window.

-the TOC wont permit navigation

-sometimes the presentation opens as an icon.thumbnail size and you have to press shift and scroll to get it to open to a viewing size.

All this is very frustrating.

Sorry for my late reply but thanx for your info.

So far I don't believe we've seen that in Captivate 6 so have fingers crossed.  Sorry I can't help you with CP8 issues on this vein.

I've also noticed issues with Captivate version 9 and IE 11. Mostly a bookmarking/resume data issue when preparing a course for our LMS.

so far I haven't seen any help or acknowledgments on this from Adobe??
